We all need active faith to glorify God in His work. Giving of our time, energy, and resources is a way that we can all express our faith. Money, as the transfer of work, is a huge part of missions. It is one of the easiest ways for people who cannot serve overseas to have a major role in the ministry. It is a great privilege to give as unto the Lord.

Most members of pioneer missionary teams are greatly overwhelmed by the immensity of their task and the great physical burdens of accomplishing their work. Funding can greatly relieve their burden, open other opportunities for ministry, and help them acquire effective tools to speed up their work. The greatest need is usually more laborers.

God has designed ministry in such a way that the Body cannot accomplish His objectives unless the members work together under the direction of the Head.

Knowing the needs precedes giving to meet those needs. We each have a responsibility to include the members of the Body by sharing needs and opportunities. However, we should share in such a way as to glorify God by allowing the Holy Spirit to move hearts in His own timing.

There are many ways to engage in proclaiming God's glory to the ends of the earth. Entrusting some of the rewards of our hard work into the hands of faithful people so that they can hire workers in another country is one honorable way to engage.
